At Cove Architects we design, innovate and collaborate to create inspirational and sustainable architecture that improves people’s lives.
Working from our Sydney studio we reimagine spaces and places, transforming the experience of living, working and playing in them. Our motivation is to create thoughtful, sustainable and affordable projects that challenge conventional thinking.
With a special focus on reimagining existing buildings and structures, we work across all sectors from residential to workplace and everything in-between, always prioritizing projects that have the potential to inspire and excite.

We provide full architecture, interiors and urban design services from concept to completion.

Every site is unique. We explore the full potential of every client’s brief, site and budget, maximizing the creative input to ensure the most imaginative output.
We are a BIM enabled practice with an appetite for integrating the latest technologies, materials and methods into our workflow.
Alistair Wood
Founder & Director
Alistair is an award-winning architect with over 10 years of global project experience spanning Australia, UK and China. Alistair founded COVE following 9 years at Make Architects where he worked on a series of city shaping projects, covering a variety of sectors and scales.
Alistair’s project experience includes design, management and coordination across all scales of projects, from public pavilions and small-scale fit-out projects to multi-residential and commercial towers. He is highly experienced in managing multi-disciplined design teams, working collaboratively to deliver inspirational and sustainable buildings.
Alistair is a firm believer that great architectural design should be accessible to everyone, no matter the project's type, scale, or budget.
